We produce tapered roller bearing mainly through the following steps:
1. Material selection: First, suitable bearing materials need to be selected, typically chromium steel GCr15. These materials have high hardness and strength, and can withstand large loads and wear.
2. Heat treatment: The selected materials are subjected to heat treatment to improve their hardness and strength, typically including quenching and tempering. Quenching can refine the steel's grains and increase its hardness, while tempering can reduce hardness, improve toughness, and make the bearing more resistant to impact.
3. Manufacturing: The heat-treated materials are processed and manufactured, including rough and precision machining. Rough machining mainly includes turning, milling, drilling, and other processes to shape the steel. Precision machining includes grinding, rolling, and other processes to shape the bearing to ensure dimensional accuracy and smoothness.
4. Cleaning and quality inspection: The machined bearings are cleaned to remove surface dirt and debris. Then various performance tests are performed, including dimensional, hardness, and wear resistance tests, to ensure the quality and performance of the bearings meet the requirements.
5. Assembly: The bearing components, including the inner and outer rings, rollers, and cage, are assembled into the bearing product.
